Well I think the biggest thing you’ve done for me personally is not made me feel embarrassed about the position I was in. I felt I could tell you the reality of my mindset and problems without judgement. you didn’t add to the stress or anxiety I was feeling towards not having a job which made me enjoy talking about looking for work, opportunities and exploring potential careers for the future! You provided multiple opportunities for me to explore and things to better develop my skill set and CV. You was that relatable figure that I think a lot of young people looking for work don’t have, even though you have a job. it was definitely refreshing to not have someone breathing down your neck, telling me I’m not doing enough and instead supported and encouraged me in a positive and healthy way, I can understand why you are successful with other young people 🙂 i am very grateful I had the conversations I did with you and if I ever find myself in this situation again, it will be you and the organisation I will contact first :)”

“After a spell of mental health issues and a long period of unemployment, and little success with the job centre and their affiliates, I needed a fresh set of eyes on my CV and up to date knowledge on the employment market. The team at Positive Pathways turned my CV from a lengthy document, into something that actually worked! with the group I was in, we covered a lot of things in the programme of work that we covered in about 10 sessions. I met some amazing people – each with different skills and backgrounds, but all wanting to improve their circumstances with no obligation … that is except to themselves.
