Who We Are

Swallows and Amazons is a youth provision for young people from Parbold and the surrounding villages who are aged between 8* to 17** years.

We offer a wide range of fun activities, offsite trips and residentials for our young people to get involved in.

Swallows and Amazons provides a safe and welcoming environment where young people can have fun with their peers and try new things.

Our aim is to promote, build and maintain positive friendships, skills and confidence, to create lifelong memories and learning opportunities.

Our activities include multi-sports, arts and crafts, games and well-being.

We are currently based at Parbold Village Hall, 2 The Green, Parbold, Wigan WN8 7DN and we meet on Tuesday evening 6.30 p.m. – 8.15 p.m.

*Under 8’s must be accompanied by someone with parental responsibility

**people who wish to continue with the group after reaching the age of 18 can do so either as a volunteer of a participant, but anyone age 18+ needs to have a current and up to date Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate acquired through Positive Pathways CIO
